Cricket World Cup 2023 Knockout Confirmed for Semifinalists

The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 has officially confirmed its semifinalists for the knockout stage. Host nation India, without worrying about the outcome of their final match against the Netherlands on Sunday, will remain at the top of the standings during the event’s group stage, already preparing to face New Zealand in the knockout semifinal match on Wednesday, November 15.

This match is set to begin at 2:00 PM local time in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, where India recorded an impressive victory of 302 runs against Sri Lanka at the start of the tournament.

The second semifinal will be held the following day, featuring South Africa and Australia, as they compete in Kolkata’s Eden Gardens to secure their place in the final on Thursday, November 16.

This match will also commence at 2:00 PM local time. The winner will face either India or New Zealand in the final.

The World Cup final is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 19, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where hopes are high for the participation of over 100,000 fans in the climax of the 13th edition of the tournament.
